Interior Makeover

This long-term client wanted a total interior redesign on the main floor. Years prior, I assisted her with decisions about furniture the family should take to their new home. Also I designed furniture placement, which incorporated the existing pieces and complemented it with a few new pieces and accessories. It was mainly about working with what they had and repurposing old pieces with new paint and or upholstery.

In 2012 it was time to update all the original furniture, but we also knew that a change to the color palette of the house from the original owner’s tastes was long overdue. This was an 8-12 month endeavor, as we wanted not only wall color to change but the palette of the entire house. Hardwood floors were refinished, cabinetry in baths and kitchen painted,as all the main floor rooms were redesigned with furniture and accessories. This redesign resulted in a home that the homeowners now love, as it reflects their tastes and is modern and comfortable.
